The Rising Cost of College
Cost of attendance generally rises each year. Keep this in mind when making college decisions. The University of Pennsylvania just raised its cost by 3.9% for next year. This can equate to thousands of unanticipated dollars each year.
Also, some scholarships may be for freshman year only or may require a minimum GPA. If covering costs for the first year will be a stretch for your family, it may become unmanageable in following years. Financial concerns are one of the top reasons students do not stay in college.
We advise our clients to make their decisions based on a college with a four-year financial fit.
